The project
06 — Domain of excellence
Extending the work of the other five domains beyond national boundaries — in both directions.
Purpose
Indian educational innovation deserves a wider audience, and Indian institutions deserve ready access to international practice. The Committee exists to make both routine rather than exceptional.
Vision
To create a worldwide network that strengthens international understanding, educational cooperation, knowledge exchange and collaborative innovation, connecting Indian institutions with global partners.
Mission
To promote international collaboration in education, research, institutional partnerships, cultural exchange and global policy dialogue — engaging educators, students, researchers, professionals, policymakers, alumni and diaspora communities in building long-term partnerships that advance education and sustainable development.

— The institutional case
In short
The Committee builds enduring institutional relationships — joint research, curriculum collaboration, faculty and student exchange, and shared publication — so that international collaboration outlasts the individuals who initiated it.

The other five domains
Institutions rarely fail for want of vision. They struggle because execution is inconsistent.
ExploreEducation prepares students for examinations. Life asks for considerably more.
ExploreExcellence measured by curiosity, creativity, research capability and judgement — not examination scores alone.
ExploreInstitutions generate knowledge every day. Almost none of it survives the person who created it.
ExploreHealthcare excellence extends beyond treating illness. It is about designing systems that deliver safe, effective and compassionate care consistently.
